Warranty

TWO YEARS - FULLY TRANSFERABLE WARRANTY // We work hard on our wheelsets, and you work hard for your money.  One of the biggest problems we have seen with high end wheels is that they become virtually worthless after the first owner.  We stand by our product, and we are happy to honor the warranty for the second owner (there is a small fee, but worth it)!  Simply pass along your receipt, have the new owner register the wheelset in our "Transfer Warranty" section and we will handle the rest.

This warranty covers our rims against defects in manufacturing as well as materials.  This warranty does not cover abuse, neglect, or normal wear and tear.  Products must be used in compliance with the specifications listed under each specific product and also in the "TECH" section of this website.  Including but not limited to - min/max tire size, min/max air pressure, proper spoke nipple, proper spoke, build procedures (if not assembed by Seek MTB).  

When submitting a warranty please provide detailed photos of defect, photo of serial number, and copy of receipt.  We will try to provide a warranty decision without physically seeing the product, but there may be times that we need to bring the wheel in for inspection.  Shipping to Seek MTB will be the responsibility of the buy, but return shipping will be on us.

ROCK STRIKES //  Seek MTB will cover rock strikes at our discretion after thorough inspection of the damaged product.  Each rim does have a specified minimum tire size, as well as minimum (and maximum) air pressure, please follow these instructions and chances of failure from an impact are drastically minimized.  Wheel build labor and shipping is the responsibility of the rider.

CRASH REPLACEMENT //  Accidents happen, people crash, cars crash into carports and bike parts break.  While we can't cover the entire cost of an accident, our goal is to keep your bike going.  In the event of a JRA we offer a 35% discount on a replacement rim.  Additionally, we will cover the cost and burden of the new wheel build.  Simply contact us with the issue, we will setup an RMA and wait for your wheel to arrive.  When it gets here, we will get to work on your new rim install.  


We try to stock all rim options at all times, but demand does outweigh supply from time to time.  Our stock is on a constant 3 week rotation, so we are never out for long.  We will notify you of any possible delay at the time we setup your RMA.

 

RETURNS //  Happiness is important.  If there is any problem with your wheelset when it arrives, we will take care of you.  We appreciate the opportunity to solve any issues you may have before providing a return/refund.  In the event that you just don't want your wheels, we do offer refunds.  

However:
 - There is a 5% restocking fee for all returned items
 - We will not take back product that has been installed
 - Shipping for returns is on you
 - If something is wrong with the order or we messed up, there will be no restocking fee and no shipping charge
 
- All returns/exchanges MUST BE requested within 20 days.  No exceptions.
